Overview:QEII is excited to offer a 4-month gynaecology registrar training position from 6th October 2025 1st Feb 2026. The role can be accredited FRANZCOG training.This role offers a core or advanced trainee the opportunity to work in a dynamic tertiary gynaecology unit that provides a broad range of generalist and subspecialist gynaecology services. Exceptional surgical exposure, both in volume and complexity of cases, is a feature of the role.QEII Jubilee Hospital, on Brisbanes southside, is one of five major facilities within Metro South Health and one of Queenslands busiest gynaecology services. The hospital serves a diverse community and is located in Coopers Plains, 12km from the Brisbane CBD.Position description:QEII hospital is seeking a RANZCOG ITP or advanced trainee for this full-time role, commencing 6th October 2025 until 1st Feb 2026. Some flexibility in start and/or finish dates may be accommodated.Trainees at QEII rotate through different advanced gynaecology training roles, working in the fields of advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, urogynaecology and pelvic floor disorders, colposcopy, sexual and reproductive health and general gynaecology. The successful candidates will participate in a 1:4 after hours remote on-call roster, which is typically valued by our trainees as excellent preparation for specialist practice after training.
