This role is responsible for deliveringscheduled items and assisting with the collection and delivery of returns, safely and efficiently. In addition, loading/unloading items, ensuring the load is secure and safe at all times, as well as following transport legislation and guidelines. As a Neumann Steel representative on-site, customer service and resolving customer queries is a large part of this role. This position is based at Hervey Bay.What will you be doing?Conduct pre-start checks on the vehicle and all equipment before useReport any faults to their manager/representative immediatelyComplete daily run sheets and have all delivery notes signedDrive and work in a safe manner at all timesAdhere to COR requirementsComplete daily load auditsEnsure tidy presentation of vehicle, and equipmentat all times.Ensure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulationsThorough knowledge of the regulations and requirements of NSW and QLD Road Rules and adhering to transport legislation/guidelines and road safety guidelines at all timesAssist customer requests in regards to placementAssist customers with any queries/disputesReport all queries/disputes to the Branch ManagerDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat are we looking for in the successful candidate?HR/MC licenseProactive natureHigh attention to detailConstruction Industry White cardVehicle unloading crane experienceForklift license is highly desirableVLC license is highly desirableWhats in it for youOngoing training and career opportunities internally & externallyFree lunch on Fridays!Mental health and wellbeing support, wellness discounts for mind, body, work, and life, including an Employee Assistance ProgramOur culture is driven by our values.
