You will also be supporting training of rotational technician staff and intern pharmacists.What youll achieve:Manufacture sterile medications following the requirements of clean room procedures and aseptic techniqueAssist senior pharmacists with staff rostering in Sterile to ensure the correct skill mix for each days manufacturingSupervise cleaning and sterilising equipment and work areasClassification for this position will be TH10 (Grade 3)(base salary $65,754 per annum, plus superannuation plus salary packaging)Your skills and experience:Prior experience working in a Sterile unitPrior experience with training staffSuitable Hospital Pharmacy Technician course (Certificate III or IV), or equivalentPrior work with paediatrics and members of the publicFamiliarity with the Pharmaceutical Benefits SchemeCertification or experience in manufacturing intravenous solutions and other sterile pharmaceutical productsFamiliarity with the use of Merlin and EpicIf this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.About the Pharmacy DepartmentThe RCH Pharmacy Sterile Room manufactures complex aseptic products for patients of RCH.
