We are a progressive engineering/fabrication business with employees based inToowoomba QLD, and Walla Walla NSW.We are a specialist manufacturer of mechanical handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial and mineral resource industries.With clients all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in supplying and maintaining bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.We are seeking energetic, customer focused achievers to join ourToowoomba basedteam as a Field Maintenance Technician, assisting with the operation of Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS).KMS offers ongoing maintenance support for grain storage and handling systems within the agricultural sector.You will be executing scheduled maintenance programs that minimise downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs.By undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment, you will play an important role in supporting our customers operations.Typical work includes but is not limited to:Bearing inspection and replacementAdjustment of belts and chainsTrouble shooting and repairing feed auger issuesRepairing and replacing chutesMinor installation workKey Responsibilities:Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipmentRepairs, including mechanical, welding and fabricationLiaise with clients and contractors to ensure job requirements are metRelevant documentation completion and managementCollaborate within the KMS team to provide excellent client outcomesSkills and Experience:Trade qualified preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boiler Maker, or other Mechanical tradeGreat with clientsAbility to regularly travel for workAttend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory (Kotzur) as neededWhy work for Kotzur?Attractive wagesGenerous living away from home allowanceOpportunity to help farmers and agricultural businesses with your problem-solving skillsRoad trips - see the beautiful Australian countrysideYou must be anAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or havepermanent full work rights in Australia.Suitable applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol screening and Police Check.This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team that is passionate about delivering industry leading solutions to Australian Agribusiness. #J-18808-Ljbffr
