Job Description

We have some big plans at the Austin Group and were on the hunt for a driven Customer Analyst to join our team! Based in our office in Malvern, this exciting position will be part of a growing CRM team responsible for driving and implementing the customer data activity supporting the CRM strategies that manage our customer lifecycle.You will manage each of the Austin Group brands customer database, CRM platform dataflow and associated reporting tools ensuring they work seamlessly to capture all the required information at key touchpoints in the customer lifecycle, enabling a delivery of actionable insight. In line with the above, you will implement customer segmentation and sales/KPI reporting with a continued focus on analysing data and customer activity to maximise commercial opportunities.You will gain a deep understanding of the brands and their respective customers to review and identify opportunities that will grow the customer base, enhance customer retention, and maximise sales through online and offline channels.Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Understand each brand, their objectives, position in market, customers, competitors, and capabilities to identify the quick commercial wins and roadmap the longer-term CRM opportunitiesLeverage and analyze customer data, activity, and behaviour in conjunction with market research to develop segmentation and customer profilesStay up to date with the latest external market customer trends with a vision to identify and present actionable insight for the Austin Group businessInvolvement in major customer driven projects such as profiling, persona creation and data cleansing across each brandReview and identify opportunities to enhance the customer lifecycleReview and identify opportunities to maximise the effectiveness of key marketing support channels including emails, catalogue distribution and SMS lead campaignsSupport for each brands major campaign post implementation reviews (PIRs) including Summer, Winter, Autumn, Spring, Fathers Day and Christmas campaignsWeek-to-week analytical review and reporting on customer sales (online and offline) that can leveraged in the weekly trade planning forumsCreation and maintenance of weekly/monthly CRM KPI reports by brand that support the annual Brand CRM StrategyDevelop and manage closed loop reporting process across all marketing support channels to measure and monitor campaign effectiveness and ROI against business goals and using insights to improve future activityMonitor and manage the customer dataflow in and out of the CRM platforms (Emarsys, Mailchimp + Klaveyo) to ensure they are feeding accurately and efficiently as expectedOptimize current CRM platforms reporting capabilities, as to capitalise on existing functionalityExplore CRM platform custom developments that would support the CRM strategy and maximise commercial benefitEnsure the governance and management of customers details are handled with absolute care and in line with regulatory requirementsYou will have:A Bachelors Degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Business/Commerce or relevant tertiary qualificationMinimum of 1 years experience in a sales analytics role, preferably in a retail or agency environmentPrevious experience with CRM Automation systems like Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similarUnderstanding of HTML/CSS (preferable)High understanding of web analytics using Google Analytics or similarCompetencies in MS Office, particularly in Excel for deep diving into data if requiredPrevious experience with POS/ERP systems (preferable)Experience working with a retail loyalty programme is a plusAbility to use data to identify actionable insights to drive multichannel growthAbility to analyse data and understand customer behaviourExperience developing and managing sales reportsProven expertise in segmentation and leveraging analysis to improve CRM performanceA background in customer re-engagement, and retention strategiesStrong commercial acumenStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and influence decisions across functionsAbility to work well under pressure and be flexibleConfidence with and the aptitude to learn new technologyHigh levels of autonomy with the ability to affect change in the business and influence strategyProven problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the boxStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing, change management and people skillsAbility to develop strong relationships with external partners including data agencies and platform providersAt Austin Group we provide:A competitive remuneration package50% clothing discount off all of our brands (GAZMAN, Perri Cutten, & Cable)Free onsite parkingA tailored induction program to ensure you have the best introduction to the businessThe opportunity to build your career with a successful, established and trusted Australian brandFantastic work/life balanceA friendly, motivating and rewarding team environment, where achievements are recognisedA highly supportive management teamOpportunities to attend fantastic social events, annual conferences and award nightsAbout usAustin Group is an established Australian owned and family run fashion retailer and wholesaler that includes some of Australias most iconic menswear and womenswear brands.
