Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.We are currently seeking Mechanical Tradespersons to join our Truck Body Assembly and Repairs team located at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeAssembly and repairs from engineering drawingsInstallation of heavy vehicle mechanical equipmentFabrication and welding of mild steel and aluminumTo Be Successful In This Role You Will HaveRelevant trade qualificationExperience in a mechanical roleExperience in truck body assembly/repairs (an advantage)The ability to read and understand engineering drawingsPrevious fabrication experience (an advantage)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in mechanical trouble shooting/problem solving and fault findingExperience in pneumatic and hydraulic equipment (an advantage)Experience in 12v/24v electrical wiringThe ability to work unsupervised or as part of a teamA current drivers licenceThis is a full-time permanent position within our Truck Body Assembly and Repairs team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
