Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking to recruit honest and experienced HC and MC Tipper Drivers to join the Melbourne Metro team. Full Time positions, based out of our Western or Northern operations.Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering quarry products into Metro Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, plus some of the largest projects and well-known construction companies. We are looking for drivers who understand safety in the heavy vehicle industry, are reliable and enjoy seeing the results of their hard work within Melbournes biggest projects.In Your New Role With Us, You WillDrive reliable and well-maintained truck and dog tipper trucksLoad and deliver quarry products into once in a lifetime projects, and HMAs internal concrete networkEnjoy steady work with competitive compensation, allowances paid daily and overtime available according to business needsSee the groundwork for the buildings holding the next big advancements in warehousing and watch the outward growth of Melbournes newest suburbsThis role is a great fit for you if you:Current MC or HC drivers licenceAre an experienced Tipper DriverCurrent White Card (Construction Induction) or ability to obtain if successfulLike to see a job done right, self-motivated, take pride in your work and the presentation of your truck!FEL Ticket advantageousUnderstanding of basic mechanics an advantage but not necessary, ability to solve problems and contribute to solutionsPrioritise and promote safety policies and proceduresFamiliar with the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Standard Fatigue HoursWilling to learn and progress within the HMA Transport DepartmentWhat We OfferPermanent full-time hours with overtime availableWorking days are Monday to Friday, with the requirements for early morning starts and Saturday shift availability a mustBase rate of $35.36* p/hour (*pending experience) + allowances + superOvertime pay (as per EBA definition) is paid, with first two hours at time and a half and double time thereafter until end of shiftMeal allowance paid daily of $17.12 (tax free) with a second paid after 10 hours of workYour pay is deposited weekly into your bankHeidelbergs thorough, minimum 10-day tipper driver training programOngoing career and development opportunitiesOur BenefitsAt Heidelberg Materials Australia, we understand that your well-being and professional growth are essential.
