This is a fixed term contract position for 12 monthsAs an Assistant Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for maximizing the achievement of sales, profit, and inventory targets for retail through effective planning, quantification, analysis, and proactive management of financials, Open to Buy and stock allocation.Key responsibilities include:Assisting Planner to analyse department, class, sub-class, and product performance to identify trends and take proactive action.Assist in Basics forecasting and manage store ranging- align forecast with the sales targets and the promotional calendar.Manage store capacity plans in both store channels, Bonds Stores & OutletsProactively manage stock levels to reduce inefficiencies, ensuring optimal store and online performance through accurate inventory and timely deliveries.Monitor and analyse size performance in season and for future purchasing.Organise data for and assist with post season reviews and performance analysis.Support Planner with preparation of reports to show performance against KPIs and business rules.Managing the entry and coordination of all seasonal retail orders.Assist with the management of Merchandise Financial PlansWhat experience do I have:Tertiary qualifications in business / marketing / retail.Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the financial parameters and targets of the department.Strong problem-solving abilityStrong Analytical SkillsetComputer literacy in MS Office- Excel experience essentialReady to shape the future of retail?Join us as an Assistant Merchandise Planner and play a key role in driving data-informed decisions that power product strategy and optimize inventory across our stores and online platforms.
