Thats truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.About the roleCompleting a Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Seasonal Clerkship at the TAC is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into working as a Solicitor in the Public Sector. This experience will provide Clerks with a unique understanding of the TACs culture and values, as well as consideration for priority offers for the 2027 Legal Graduate Traineeship Program.Our Seasonal Clerks spend 3 weeks working in our legal branch, which is comprised of four legal teams who support the TAC to make decisions in accordance with the Transport Accident Act 1986 (Vic), and represent the TAC in alternative dispute resolution processes and litigated proceedings.Whilst at the TAC, Seasonal Clerks are supported by Solicitors, Senior Solicitors, Senior Legal Managers, and other internal stakeholders to engage with our day to day work, and are encouraged to take part in development opportunities that arise during their Clerkship.
