The position works across a 24-hour roster and can involve day, evening, weekend sleepover, and overnight stand-up work.About the role:MacKillops Out of Home Care (OOHC) programs provide residential care, home-based care, lead tenant, and case management support for young people with high and complex needs, as well as a therapeutically oriented program for young people in protective placements.Our Residential Services offer accommodation and support to children and young people referred through the Child Protection system. The Residential Care Worker participates in the daily operation of the unit, responding to the young persons emotional and functional needs, developing their personal skills, and managing administrative and household duties.We are recruiting for day, afternoon, and active shifts.Opportunities are available on a Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual basis in the Southern Suburbs of VIC within our Out of Home Care Southern Services Program.
