With production underway at Paulsens and Kal East, a robust project pipeline, and rapid exploration across our tenements, the Company has a clear vision of sustainable multi-operation gold production.Most importantly, we are building a strong team of highly engaged and motivated individuals, who are committed to building a positive and fun workplace culture making Black Cat a great company to work for!Were looking for an Underground Trainerwho is not afraid of a challenge and is passionate about making a difference to be part of and help develop our UG Mining Team!Working in collaboration with the Shift Supervisors the Underground Trainerwill be responsible for training the Underground Team in the safe operational activities required in the underground.The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha or Dampier. Paulsens is in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east from Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.The roster is FIFO 15/13 (day shift only).About the OpportunityThe Crew Trainer - Undergroundwill be responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting training for underground personnel toensure safety, compliance and enhancement of productivity, and career progression. Key accountabilities include:Continuous monitoring and coordination of training requirements.Development and maintenance of training and assessment tools.Development and maintenance of a skills matrix.Review in conjunction with HSE, relevant company inductions to ensure currency and relevancy of material pertaining to Mining UG.Support the UG team in the review and maintenance or standard operating procedures and processes.Identify opportunities to streamline training offerings and assessment methods to drive continuous improvement.About YouIf you are anenthusiastic person with flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small site teamand a desire to take initiative and persevere in a demanding operational environment,this opportunity is for you!You will need the following.Certificate IV in Training and Accessing (TAE40116)Practical experienceworking underground on trucks, service crew, charge up and bogger as a minimum.Competent with Integrated Tool Carrier Certification.Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket (or ability to gain).If you would like to know more about the above opportunityand to be part of this exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
