Position: Part-Time Meat Processing Worker Schedule: Rotating roster including weekends, shifts starting from 7am to as late as 10pm. Minimum 24 hours per week. Daily Tasks and Responsibilities: Inspect and reassemble equipment sanitized the previous night. Rework display cases and rotate products. Handle large trays of packaged meat, placing packages into automatic wrapping machines following safety procedures. Set labelers according to product type and price, print and apply labels. Place wrapped and labeled meat onto trays or carts and stock display cases, reaching through sliding windows or moving racks. Operate meat grinder, check fat content, and ensure quality standards are met. Clean and sanitize work areas throughout the day, maintaining health code standards. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Provide prompt and courteous service to members/customers. Availability for early mornings, late shifts, and potential overnight shifts. Weekend and PM loading rates apply. Capability to lift up to 25kg, with manual handling assessment required. Non-Essential Tasks: Assist with front-end duties as needed. Support other warehouse departments as necessary. Qualifications: Food Handling and Food Safety certifications preferred.
