Founded in 1993, our college educates students with a Christian worldview, emphasising the Word of God and the Lordship of Christ in their service to the world. We currently have more than 260 students studying on campus and via distance education.Kingsley''s campus is home to our Early Learning Centre. Opened in 2022, our centre has modern built-for-purpose facilities, and we nurture and educate children aged 3-4, preparing them for school life.Early Learning Kingsley College is looking for a full-time Early Childhood Teacher & Director based in North Rockhampton, QLD.This unique dual-role opportunity involves working five days per fortnight as a classroom Early Childhood Teacher and five days per fortnight in a Director leadership capacity.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading a mixed-age early childhood group with developmentally appropriate programsFacilitating quality Christian learning experiences guided by the Reggio Emilia approachLeading the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)Overseeing curriculum, staff engagement, and policy developmentPartnering with families to support each child''s learning and wellbeingSupporting administrative processes, including rostering and enrolment coordinationCollaborating with other staff and the nominated supervisor (School Principal)Fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive early learning environmentThe centre operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.The appointment of a suitable applicant may be made before the closing date for applications.About YouTo qualify, you will need a Bachelor-level Early Childhood Teaching qualification and Queensland Teacher Registration.
