This is a hands-on role that offers full-time hours, overtime, and the possibility of permanent employment down the track.About The RoleIn this role, youll be responsible for safely loading and unloading steel products of varying sizes and shapes. You''ll need to be confident working with awkward, non-standard freight. Experience with long loads such as timber, pipes, or steel is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to move steel and other heavy materialsLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyManage awkward and non-standard freight with careKeep the yard tidy, safe, and organisedFollow all site and safety proceduresWhat Youll Need to Succeed:Valid forklift licence and proven forklift experienceStrong track record handling large or awkward loadsPrevious experience with steel, timber, or long pipes highly regardedPhysically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weatherReliable, punctual, and a team playerMust pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testPPE Required:Long sleeve hi-vis shirtLong work pantsSteel cap lace-up bootsWhats On Offer:$38 per hour + penaltiesMonday to Friday, 6:00am-4:00pmOngoing work with full-time hoursOvertime and occasional weekend workOpportunity for permanent employmentWork with a renowned steel manufacturerApply Now:Ready to get started?
