Your work supports resident dignity and comfort, helping to create a true sense of home. Youll build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff and contribute to our values of respect, compassion, and excellence.What You Will DoPerform thorough daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces in line with infection control standardsEnsure all cleaning schedules and checklists are completed and documentedReplenish cleaning and hygiene supplies, including handwashing stationsManage laundry processes including collection, washing, drying, ironing, folding and return of resident clothing and facility linenCheck and label residents personal items to prevent loss or mix-upsOperate laundry equipment safely and in accordance with procedures while maintaining a clean and orderly laundry areaCommunicate any concerns about resident wellbeing or environmental risks to care staffWhat you will bring:Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) MANDATORYWorking rights in Australia - MANDATORYHospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion and EmpathyAn understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)Who we are: PresCare Alexandra Gardens is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities.
