This opportunity also comes paired with an attractive salary package and flexible work arrangements.The successful candidate will be part of our drawing office''s team and will be involved in a multitude of engineering projects for slurry and water pipeline transportation systems, backfill plants and slurry dewatering.Main DutiesProduction of a variety of drawings/MTO/lists as well as 2D and 3D models across the following disciplines: mechanical, process, piping, civil, and structural, under regular supervision from their supervisorsDevelopment of drawings/models from engineers'' sketches with regular inputUndertake document control activitiesAssist with drawing office related PM tasks on projectsAdhere to P&C + client policies, standards and guidelinesAssist with clash detection of design models against as-built models, or other consultants/clients design modelsAssist with CAD coordination between internal departmentsEnsure all activities performed at work are carried out in compliance with common Workplace/Occupational Health & Safety protocols, including Company policies, and all relevant occupational health and safety laws and regulationsMinimum Requirements & CompetenciesWork Authorisation: Australia (Required).Formal training and/or qualification in Drafting, consistent with a Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (or equivalent)1+ Years work experience in mechanical/pipeline drafting (including 2D and 3D modelling for slurry, water, waste, mineral processing and/or oil & gas)Experience working with one or more of the following packages: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenPlantFoundational to Intermediate computer literacy skills, including with MS Office packageFoundational to Intermediate skills in one or more CAD software packages covering the entire workflow from setup and 2D/3D modelling to drawing/model productionFoundational to Intermediate written/verbal communication skillsFoundational to Intermediate attention to detail/organisational skillsKey Professional AttributesActs with integrity and honestyTakes initiative and is self-motivatedCommunicates openly and respectfullyAble to work well under pressureGood team player who can work well with othersCommitted to technical excellence and continuous learningAdequately follows instructions and guidelinesOther RequirementsAbility and willingness to travel when requiredFlexibility to work outside standard office hours when requiredFamiliarity with the Australian Occupational Health & Safety regulations frameworkWillingness to comply with government mandated health directives, including vaccinationsIn return Paterson & Cooke Australia offers a competitive annual salary for the position.
