Join to apply for the Technician III role at NovaSource Power Services1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Technician III role at NovaSource Power ServicesGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.NovaSource Power Services (NSPS) is a specialist in providing Operations & Maintenance Services to Solar Plants & Battery Energy Storage Projects, around the world.We presently manage over 26GW of Utility Solar Projects globally; and are established in Australia to drive a higher standard of O&M to market.About The RoleReplacement of key components, such as modules and inverter componentsMaintenance of inverters or associated electrical components.Work alongside Engineering team on the SCADA.Promptly respond to and execute necessary repairs of faulty equipment.Interface with, and management of subcontractors and other workers on site, including site inductions, daily pre-start meetings, etc.Continuous reporting of work status and scheduling to Regional Manager and Solar Asset Manager, including complete and detailed documentation of all work performed, involving daily time tracking and use of CMMS.WHS reporting and adherence to WHS protocols as established by NovaSource policy.Timely documentation of works performed using supplied framework.This role is supported by a 24/7 Control Room, and involves working with Solar Asset Managers, Site Technicians and Greenskeeper - Attending to assigned work orders relating to preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, project works.To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following:Safety as a core value, with a strong commitment to WHS.Reliable, organized and team focused.Have the tenacity and a can-do approach.Being able to efficiently execute tasks, as defined by a maintenance plan.Demonstrate strong organization skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skills.Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.Willing to travel.Knowledge and experience in Solar Farm O&M, plant and equipment.Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, drawings and specifications.Knowledge of current industry standards, specifications, industry best practice and Australian Standards.Essential RequirementsCurrent Electrical License (unrestricted).Construction White Card.Current & Valid Drivers License.Valid First Aid (CPR) & Low Voltage (LV) Rescue.Australian Work Rights.Trade Qualification Electrical.Experience with Data Communications (SCADA, dataloggers, routers)Desirable RequirementsHigh Voltage Switching training can be provided.Willing to travel to other projects, if requiredBenefits & PerksOn Call AllowanceOvertime AllowanceLaptop & MobileCompany VehicleEmployee Assistance ProgramTraining for professional development provided.Collaborate with an international and dynamic team.Work with a market leader in solar O&MRoster 5/2 full-time permanent positionDiscounted Health & Fitness BenefitsLocationBroken HillWho Are WeEmployment OpportunityIt is NovaSource Power Services policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
