Its continuing success is a result of its strong relationship to its members and the community from which it has grown and its relevance and value as a recreational, sporting, entertainment and social icon in Sydneys burgeoning west.About the Role....In the Maintenance Assistant role, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Assist with responses to maintenance requests to ensure the group buildings and properties are functional and in good repair and meet with government and regulations, environmental and WHS standards.Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.General repairs, painting, cleaning, furniture relocation and assembly, fixing leaking taps, changing light bulbs, assist with holding a ladder.Maintain the cleanliness of the outside spaces, ensuring standards of presentation are high.Assist with the maintenance of plant equipment and supplies to ensure meets with Australian Standards.Assist with the engagement of subcontractors and ensure relevant documentation and safety process have been documented in line with the WHS Act; andEnsure compliance with WHS policy, safety procedures and processes.Qualifications/Skills, Experience and Inherent Requirements:Proven experience in maintenance / similar role with at least 6 months experienceAbility to work with a high level of autonomy, follow directions and team playerAbility to work with hardware tools and power equipment using safety guidelinesExcellent verbal and written communicationSound knowledge of legislative requirements including the Workplace health and Safety ActCurrent full drivers drivers licenseUnderstanding of safe Manual Handling practices; andWilling to undergo a Pre employment Medical and Police Check.How to Apply....If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a financially secure large Club Group then send through your Resume by clicking on the APPLY NOW Button below.Please make sure to include any certificates or licenses you may have obtained to assist us in assessing your suitability for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
