As an orderly, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:Working with and assisting clinical staffCleaning and waste removalEnsuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checkedAssisting in Perioperative patient positioningTransporting patients between wardsIn this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programs and a supportive management team.Your Key Skills And ExperienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effective within a team environment and independentlyExcellent patient and customer service focusBe available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating rosterPrior experience in a similar role highly desirableA strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital proceduresMotivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.RemunerationA base hourly rate ranging from $29.70 + superannuation (plus casual loading when applicable), based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.The HospitalNorth West Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric and medical hospital situated 15 minutes north-west of the Brisbane CBD, in Everton Park.
