About the role:The Fleet Allocator role is working in a fast-paced team environment within the Sameday operation. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of service to our customers urgent Sameday courier services by efficiently managing and allocating jobs to the fleet of drivers.Work within a Sameday Radio Room, being our first point of contact for our professional couriersAllocate courier jobs to Sameday couriers in an efficient, effective manner to meet service delivery timesPlan & prioritise jobs in a fast-paced environmentApply knowledge of transport dispatch, freight management, and GPS Tracking systemsAssist with collation of data for recording and achieving KPIs (Service Quality)Communicate effectively with other allocators & quality control staff to ensure efficient job allocationAbout youHigh level of geographic knowledge of Brisbane areaExcellent persuasive skills/negation skills in dealing with driver queries.Ability to understand drivers strengths and abilities in undertaking urgent time critical deliveriesGeneral understanding of COR and Dangerous Goods policesStrong relationship management with drivers and customersReliability with a can-do attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond for the customerAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFederal Express Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer including, Vets/Disability.Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application process.
