It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.How To ApplyTo be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Demonstrated extensive experience working with Children 0-5 years in a long day care setting.Holds a Diploma in Childrens Services or Certificate III in Childrens Services.Current First aid Certificate-HLTAID004 in Education and care setting. 004 certificate includes: Managing Asthma and Anaphylaxis in Early Childhood.Current Child Protection Certificate Identifying and responding to children and Young people at Risk and Harm CHCPERT001, CHCCHILD1C and 401A.Demonstrated ability to plan and implement a program in relation to the Early Years Learning Framework outcomes and indicators.Sound Knowledge of child development and learning and commitment to providing high quality care for children.Demonstrated knowledge and thorough understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations and National Quality Standards.Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.Need more information?Click here for the Position DescriptionFind out more about applying for this positionAdditional InformationSalary PackagingSouth Western Sydney Local Health District employees are able to enjoy the benefits of salary packing.
