About The TeamSupport Mates is a fast-growing, purpose-led NDIS provider on the Gold Coast. We exist to help young people with disabilities build friendships, life skills, and confidence through community-based group and 1:1 support.Were not a traditional provider we run cooking programs in commercial kitchens, get active with dance and gym sessions, and prioritise real-world progress over box-ticking. We''re now looking for an experienced, emotionally intelligent support worker to join our team.If youre someone who leads with empathy, holds strong boundaries, and lights up when building connection with young people this could be your perfect fit.About the RoleWere looking for a Support Worker (Gold Coast | 1:1 Behaviour Support | NDIS) to join our growing team. This is a casual position focused on supporting young adults with disabilities to build life skills, confidence, and connection through community-based support.Youll work primarily 1:1 with a participant and in group settings, helping them navigate everyday routines, engage in activities they enjoy, and build independence over time. The role may involve early starts, long shifts, and supporting participants with complex needs so being reliable, calm under pressure, and emotionally intelligent is essential.Youll receive thorough onboarding and ongoing training, and youll be supported by a vibrant team culture that values initiative, collaboration, and personal growth.
