This casual position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, and work surfacesEmptying garbage bins and disposing of waste in a safe and responsible mannerOperating dishwashing equipment efficientlyMaintaining kitchen equipment, which involves changing oils and cleaningAdhering to food safety and sanitation standardsWorking collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet service requirementsOn occasion assisting the Chefs with basic food preparationFollowing instructions and performing other duties as assigned by Senior Kitchen StaffDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout you:Shifts will vary - you may be starting at 8am and working a day shift, or working a mid-shift starting at 10am through to 6pm, or on night shift starting around 3pm and working through to 11pm/12am. Reliable transport is a must!Shifts will vary across 7 days of the week and at various times noted above. We are looking for someone with excellent availability and flexibility.Attention to detail and a strong passion for maintaining a hygienic environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen settingAbility to take direction from Senior Kitchen staffReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicAbility to perform physical work involving bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling is required for this role #J-18808-Ljbffr
