As a Bartender, you''ll be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional beverage service, crafting creative cocktails, and building meaningful connections in a vibrant and dynamic environment.What Youll Do:Be an ambassador for voco and Hotel Indigo, representing the brand with every interaction.Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.Provide an exceptional beverage experience with a focus on high-quality drinks.Mix classic cocktails and create new, innovative drink offerings.Offer expert wine knowledge and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.Create barista-quality coffee and assist with other bar duties as required.Spot up-selling opportunities and use them to enhance the guest experience.Assist other departments, including Meetings & Events, as required.Maintain adherence to food safety, hygiene, and general safety compliance.Respond quickly and attentively to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.What You Bring:Previous experience in food and beverage roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment.Expertise in mixing both traditional and creative cocktails.Strong wine knowledge and ability to pair food and beverages thoughtfully.Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Simphony).High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for providing excellent guest service.Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Pride in personal presentation, grooming, and a friendly, approachable demeanor.A current Queensland RSA certificate (or the willingness to obtain one).Legal right to work in Australia.Why Join Us?Be part of the opening team at two exciting properties in Brisbane.Competitive salary and employee benefits.Vibrant and dynamic team culture.Opportunities for career development and growth within a global hotel brand.Ready to make your mark?
