This involves carefully planting and pruning a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees to ensure they thrive in their environment, while also enhancing the overall aesthetic of the garden. Lawn care is a key responsibility, which includes regularly mowing, edging, and watering to keep the lawns lush and well-maintained which adds a homely touch to the facility.Duties Include:Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areasPlant, prune, and care for trees, flowers, and shrubsPerform regular weeding, mulching, and fertilizingMow lawns and trim hedgesEnsure walkways and paths are clean and safeWork closely with the care team to create outdoor spaces that meet residents'' needsFollow all health and safety guidelinesTo be Successful you''ll need:Experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticultureUnlimited working rights in Australia MANDATORYNDIS Check - MANDATORY knowledge of plants, garden maintenance, and seasonal careAbility to operate gardening tools and equipment safelyAttention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spacesA compassionate and patient nature, with an understanding of working in an aged care environmentPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual tasksWho we are: Nanyima Care is a Not-for-Profit Residential Aged Care Facility, under the governance of dedicated volunteers from within our local community, who contribute to the planning, management, and growth of the facility.At the heart of our offering is a deep commitment to a resident first approach.
