The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated and be relied upon to work in a team environment and contribute to the performance of the store.This role is a casual role working 2 - 3 days a week Monday to Friday, with potential additional shifts if required.What You Will Be DoingPhysical work with some heavy lifting requiredLoading & unloading of trucksStock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policyEnsuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their departmentServing customers in the yard, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient servicePicking orders to be sent out on delivery trucksPutting away stock, mainly timber and associated productsWhat You Will BringDemonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrioritise workload to effectively meet deadlinesMust be physically fit and able to be on your feet all dayAn eye for detail and a sense of urgencyAbility to be available for work across the 5 days of the weekForklift Licence not essential but advantageousAbout UsMitre 10 is the Mighty Helpful independent hardware store Proudly Local, Helping Locals.
