The Learning Support Aide casual position is an opportunity for an anyone who is passionate about Christian Education and working in a productive team environment with students. The role may support students with special needs either from Primary or from Secondary.The successful applicant should: Be a committed Christian whois actively involved in their local church Be able to assist in providing quality Christian education to students Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning Contribute to the life of the College community Expect to be part of a God-honouring collaborative staff team Ideally, have an Education Support Certificate in I, II, or III with similar skills. Have a willingness to complete First Aid training as per College expectations and completethe mandatory AIS child protection trainingThe Learning Support Aide will work under the direction of the classroom teachers and StudentLearning Support Team (SLS). They will work with individual students and groups in a classroomsetting and may need to accompany staff and students on excursions. They will be reporting relevantaspects of student progress to the teacher and other members of the SLS as well as contributing toprofessional discussions to ensure inclusive Education for all students.Applicants should be able to work effectively within a team, actively assisting students with adisability. They should be creative and insightful.
