Through your work in the kitchen and dining areas, youll help support resident health, dignity, and enjoyment, while building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Your role reflects our values of respect, compassion, and excellence.What You Will DoAssist in the preparation and cooking of meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standardsSupport the Chef with meal planning, preparation, plating, and portion controlMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areasWash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and follow daily cleaning checklistsHelp with the setup and service of meals to residents in dining rooms or individual roomsEnsure all kitchen and food safety regulations are followed, including correct storage and labellingCommunicate any dietary concerns, resident feedback, or safety issues to relevant staffWhat you will bring:Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) MANDATORYWorking rights in Australia - MANDATORYHospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion and EmpathyAn understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)Who we are: PresCare Alexandra Gardens is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities.
