Whoever you are, whatever you are passionate aboutwe welcome you and encourage you to open the world through education.Your Role:We are looking for natural leaders who will help organise and deliver activities, events and excursions for groups of our student body. Every day is different from taking students on unique excursions, to running epic themed murder mysteries while dressed as your favourite film character! These roles are offered on a full-time, flexible basis over at least 2 weeks between January-February and again in June-August, and will involve 5 days per week- evening and weekend shifts.Responsibilities:Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities, events, ceremonies and day tripsCreates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer serviceTakes responsibility for health, safety and well-being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and proceduresLiaises with co-leaders to discuss how to improve future activities, events, ceremonies and day tripsEnsures the EF behaviour code isalways followed by all studentsand informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problemsAssists with other duties as requested by the Activity Manager or CentreManagerRequirements:Highly motivated,energeticand positive with a sociable and outgoing personalityConfident in leading and managing groups of studentsHighly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervisedAbility to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressureAppreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international studentsA flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essentialIs a trained First Aider(preferable but not essential)Experience with 7-14 year olds (preferable but nor essential)All offers are subject to two references and obtaining a Blue CardWhy you will love working with EF :Work in a truly international environmentAmbition is nurtured and fast-tracked career enhancement opportunities are providedStaff are encouraged to innovate, take ownership of their ideas and bring them to fruitionGlobal career opportunitiesExternal trainings on safeguarding and mental health first aidSummer camp canteenSubsided accommodation available if necessaryEF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.References will be followed up and will ask specifically whether there is any reason that the applicant should not be engaged in situations where they have responsibility for, or substantial access to, persons under 18.Upon interview all gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily and proof of identity and, where applicable, qualifications will be required.Appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to confirmation of appointment.
