We strive to build a rewarding, inclusive, and inspiring culture, with innovation at the forefront of mind.Description:Quick Overview Of The RoleWorking as part of the team in our Capalaba branch, you will operate all machinery, produce goods, prepare and building loads and ensure that all loads are quality inspected and tagged while committing to your safety and that of the team. You will receive thorough training and support to learn all aspects of the Production Operator role, and any future career development opportunities within the business. This is a full-time position.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe unloading of goods and materials & ensuring accuracy of receipt documentationOperate machinery, plant, and equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with company procedures.Produce manufactured goods in accordance with specifications.Pick and pack of sales orders in accordance with order requirements, company procedures and nominated work plan.Conduct pre-start checks on plant, equipment, and machinery before use.Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times.Communicate with other staff in an effective manner to ensure a productive, cost effective & safe worksite.Safe loading of vehicles within Safe Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislationComplete relevant documentation correctly & accurately.Skills and Experiences:What are we looking for in the successful candidate?Physically fit and able to operate machineryA commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and othersA positive attitude and willingness to learn new thingsHigh Risk Work License - ForkliftOverhead Gantry Crane experienceDrivers licenceSteel machine experience highly desirableWhats In It For YouFree parking onsiteOngoing training and career opportunities internally & externallyWorkplace benefits with everyday savings on food, fuel, retailer brandsMental health and wellbeing support, wellness discounts for mind, body, work, and life, including an Employee Assistance ProgramNeumann Steel is continually building a safe and respectful workplace, where all our people feel appreciated and accepted.
