This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital service within our multilevel facility, ensuring our patients and staff receive delicious and well-prepared meals.In this role, you''ll be an integral part of our kitchen operations, assisting with a variety of tasks that keep things running smoothly. You''ll need to be energetic and able to maintain a fast pace, as you''ll be on your feet for extended periods and walking distances across our facility.Here''s a glimpse of what your day might involve:Basic food preparation: Assisting our team with a range of simple food preparation tasks.Meal delivery: Delivering meals promptly and courteously towards throughout our multilevel facility.Maintaining hygiene standards: Adhering to stringent food safety and cleaning protocols within our commercial kitchen environment.Menu assistance: Helping with menu preparation and understanding.Tray assembly: Efficiently assembling meal trays with precision and care.Dishwashing: Ensuring all dishes and kitchenware are cleaned to the higheststandards.Meeting timeframes: Working efficiently to meet strict meal service deadlines.We''re looking for someone who is:Reliable and punctual.Able to work effectively in a team environment.Physically capable of standing for extended periods and walking significant distances.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety.A positive communicator with a can-do attitude.Availability:We have a variety of shifts available, including:8:00 AM - 4:30 PM8:00 AM - 11:00 AM10:30 AM - 7:30 PMPlease note that weekend and public holiday work will be involved as part of a rotating roster. 8 weeks of rosters are sent out in advance.What you will bring:Youre resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
