We are currently seeking experienced and capable Catering Assistants & Kitchenhands, both Permanent Part-Time & Casual, to join our dedicated teams in Busselton and Dunsborough.About the Role:The Catering Assistant and Kitchenhands play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being of residents by contributing to their dining experiences. They help create a welcoming atmosphere during mealtimes and work diligently to ensure that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to high standards of work while providing considerate, person-centred care to our residents.Our shift times are: Monday to Sunday: 7am - 1:30pm and 4pm-7pm.Key Responsibilities:Meal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, which may include chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of the Cook or Chef.Serving Meals: Help in serving meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring that each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.Dining Room Setup: Set up the dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean, and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
