Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents favourite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the residents facesYou need to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift!WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will learn new skills as you connect and build quality relationships with individuals across a variety of aged care homes, enhancing everyones quality of life.Prepare, present and deliver delicious food and beverages to residents in accordance with Facility Food Safety PoliciesMaintaining a clean and safe kitchenSweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, benches & cutlery and disposing of rubbishSetting the dining room for daily meals you may get to engage with the lovely residents, so a bubbly personality is a mustAdhering to and supporting WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activitiesCleaning of facility residents rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping. Attention to detail is a mustWHAT DO YOU NEED?Minimum 3 months experience (Aged Care or hospital preferred, but not essential)Previous experience in the Back of House Hospitality, or Aged Care sectors.Current National Employment Police CheckCovid vaccinated as per state government requirementsDrivers license and your own reliable transportBe willing to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp''s onboarding processYou will be fully supported by a staff-focused, caring rostering team who pride themselves on their inclusive, supportive culture.
