To ensure guest requests are processed and communicated to relevant departments.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive reservation requests through the telephone, GDS, email and facsimile transmissions.Answer all reservation enquiries individually and enthusiastically following the established hotel telephone communication guidelines.Process all reservations, cancellations and amendments to bookings.Ensure No Shows are followed up and payment is processed for no show / cancellation fees.Be fully aware of the Hotels yield management procedures and implement accordinglyCommunicate any guest special requests to the appropriate department(s) and follow up to make certain the request has been fulfilled in accordance with the guests wishes.Communicate any pertinent guest comments, particularly guest complaints, to the Hotel Management and assist in the investigation and resolution of these complaints.Have a full working knowledge of all current room rates and packages available at the Hotel.Follow all of the established procedures with regards to hotel credit accounts, paying particular attention to accounts receivable procedures and letters of authority.Process a monthly commission run in conjunction with the hotel policy on commissions payments and ensure proper filing and records are kept which pertain to commissions paymentsAssist the Group Reservations Co-ordinators as required.Ensure that the confidentiality of the Hotels guests is maintained.Be fully conversant with the Hotels facilities and services in order to answer any queries from potential Hotel guests.Maintain complete and accurate reservations filesMaintain a clean and safe working environment.Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the Hotels established Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.Assist Front Desk and back office personnel when necessary.Comply with all of the Hotels operational policies and procedures as outlined in the staff handbook (OH&S).Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.Attend all scheduled meetings.Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by ManagerSydney Airport, 8 Arrival Ct, Mascot NSW 2020, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
