We are seeking two motivated Trade Assistants to join a Boilermaker team at a global leader in construction. With more completed projects in more locations than any other company in the industry, we offer a unique opportunity to work on high-quality, large-scale infrastructure projects.As a Trade Assistant, you will support qualified Boilermakers with a range of fabrication and assembly tasks, contributing to the production of high-quality structural components.Key duties include:Cut pipes to specified measurements for use in handrails and other structural components.Sand and polish metal surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.Assist in the fabrication and preparation of handrails and other metal assemblies.Skills and experience required:Experience using power tools and hand tools such as grinders, sanders, and saws.Ability to cut, sand, and polish metal (e.g., stainless steel or aluminum) to a high-quality finish.Basic understanding of fabrication or metalwork processes.Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and clean finishes.Ability to read and follow instructions or technical drawings.Commitment to safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Previous experience in a marine, construction, or fabrication environment is an advantage.Where to from here?If you have had similar experience and are looking to join a friendly team and reputable company on a permanent full-time basis, then reach out to us today!
