We deliver in-home aged and disability care services, including household help, personal care, respite, shopping, allied therapies, nursing, transport, social and community access, home modifications and maintenance.Through our programs and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we support thousands of Australians to remain living safely and independently in their home and the local community.About the RoleWere looking for a compassionate and reliable Transport Driver to support older clients, people with disabilities, and their carers by providing safe, friendly transport that helps them stay independent in their communities.Youll drive clients to appointments and social outings, assist them in and out of vehicles, and offer respectful, engaging companionship along the way.Key Responsibilities:Drive shuttle services and attend social group outingsAssist passengers safely, including wheelchair supportComplete safety and maintenance checksMaintain accurate records and documentationAbout YouYoure a safe, patient, and people-focused driver with a passion for supporting older people and those with disabilities. You bring a positive, solution-focused attitude and a strong commitment to client care and independence.To succeed in this role, you will have:A valid C Class Drivers Licence and willingness to obtain an LR LicenceA valid First Aid CertificateExperience providing transport services to older people and/or individuals with disabilitiesA calm, patient approach with the ability to remain composed under pressureFlexibility to adjust hours or take on additional transport runs as neededA commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and helping clients achieve their personal goalsThe ability to build rapport and support client engagement while managing expectations respectfullyA current NDIS and Working With Children CheckAs part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undergo a comprehensive screening and background check.We are situated on Darkinjung, Wonnarua, Awabakal and Gringai lands and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land.
