Add expected salary to your profile for insightsBorder Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for experienced and motivatedBulk Delivery Driverto join the team at our Darwin Branch.The role is a Casual position with fulltime hours.This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.Duties:Ensure all freight is delivered on time, in full and with no damagesPlan and monitor all freight movements for effective utilisation in order to meet the operations time schedule;Check all paperwork is completed accurately and real time signatures are obtained at all times;Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations;Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading and movement of freight in accordance with company & statutory guidelines.(Potential) for general forklift duties as wellSkills and Experience:Previousexperience in the Transport industry preferred;Excellent Driver History Report;Great local knowledge ofDarwin and surrounding areas;Ability to work unsupervised;A currentmin HRlicence isessential for this position;Experience in multi-drops essential with potential for hand unloads as required.Tailgate and pallet jack experience essentialCurrent LF forklift licence would be an advantageGet to know Border Express:One of our core assets is our People, with personal development activities, training and a number of employee wellbeing programs in place we are committed to developing high quality teams which provide a premium service to our customers.At Border Express, weve been setting the standard for exceptional service and results for over 40 years.
