We are part of our community and provide a diverse suite of services, from tailored home care to our state-of-the-art purpose-built dementia care village.This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your skills and experience to contribute meaningfully to the lives of older people in our community.The role will bepermanent full-timewith a 5-day working week with a rotating on-call roster, based in our Windsor Street facility.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer who is passionate about property upkeep and delivering excellent service to our residents, families and staff.Youll bring experience in general building maintenance, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail and understanding of workplace health and safety.Trade qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded but not essentialThe ability to safely operate tools and equipment, as well as the physical capacity for tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying, is essential.The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a broad range of people including those living with dementiaMost importantly, youll have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a genuine commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our community.ABOUT THE ROLE:Reporting to the Asset Services Manager you will be responsible for:Maintaining buildings and physical assets and carrying out routine maintenance tasks within the independent living units and our two residential care facilities.
