Site Hand / Site Installation AssistantsAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleAs a Site Hand / Site Installation Assistant with Pro Metalwork, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of installation projects across the ACT region. In this full-time position, you will be an integral part of the on-site team, assisting with a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure the smooth execution of our metalwork installations.What you''ll be doingAssisting skilled tradespeople with the installation of fabricated metal components and productsAssisting our site supervisors with the installation of our products including handrails, shelters, awnings, pergolas, screening/fencing, gates and balustrades. Experience with glass balustrade systems would be highly regarded.Performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the work area organised and safeUnloading and moving materials and equipment to support the construction processFollowing all safety protocols and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE)Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutionsAdhering to project timelines and quality standardsWhat we''re looking forGood physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasksStrong attention to detail and a commitment to safetyGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamA positive attitude and a willingness to learnYou must haveWhite CardIf you''re ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
