Due to growth, BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support clients in Wagga Wagga and surrounding area.This key role delivers evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions under Aged Care Funding to help clients regain independence and continue living at home. Together as a team, we help people feel loved, valued, and respected.Permanent daytime schedules apply to this role with no weekend or shift work required.The Benefits Of Joining BaptistCareJoin our experienced multi-disciplinary team and enjoy a supportive workplace, competitive pay, salary packaging and novated leasing, rewards programs, wellbeing support, employee referrals, and retail discounts.To Be Successful In The Role, You Must PossessA Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.Proven ability to assess occupational therapy needs and design tailored programs for aged care clients within the community.Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings.Thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work.Commitment to understanding and upholding BaptistCares Christian identity, actively promoting organisational values through professional interactions.Hold a current first aid certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.Possess a valid unrestricted drivers licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.About UsWe are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
