The Technical Services Assistant is designed for recent school leavers seeking hands-on experience in the mining industry. This structured development role provides exposure across various technical and operational departments, including surveying, geology, planning, operations, and drill & blast. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable industry knowledge, preparing them for further study, apprenticeships, or ongoing employment in the mining sector.The role will:Provide foundational training and exposure to technical services in a mining operation.Support recent school leavers in building practical workplace skills.Promote safe work practices and an understanding of mine site operations.Develop confidence using digital tools, mine systems, and technical equipment.Offer career insight into technical mining roles such as mining engineer, surveyor, or geologist.About YouYoure a recent school leaver looking to kick-start a career in the mining industry. Youre curious, motivated, and eager to learn through real, hands-on experience.
