This vital operational role involves working with allied emergency care services under Queensland Ambulance Services, serving as a trusted communication link between patients and healthcare providers.Location: Gold CoastWork Type: Full TimeClassification: Healthcare & Medical Ambulance/ParamedicsProficient in verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of the responsibilities involved in an emergency medical dispatcher role.Must have a typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy.The QAS operates statewide within Queensland Health, providing pre-hospital ambulance response, emergency and non-emergency patient care and transport, inter-facility transports, casualty room services, and disaster management planning.Ambulance services are delivered from 290 response locations across 15 Local Ambulance Service Networks (LASNs), aligned with Queensland Healths hospital boundaries.The 16th statewide LASN includes seven operations centres across Queensland, managing emergency call taking, dispatch, and non-urgent patient transport coordination.Experience in call centres, emergency services, or community services is preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training is provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr
