The MPU Operator will be responsible for the delivery of emulsion based explosives in alignment with the services supplied on site. And with a strong commitment to upskilling and progressing your career throughout the company, you''ll be on the fast track to success. SkillsWe are currently looking for a qualified and experienced MPU Operator to work at one of the various opportunities we have at our North Bowen Basin site. There will also be a potential requirement to work nightshift for these roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise you''re mining skills and knowledge for one of our key customers. In addition, the MPU Operator will also be responsible for:Safe and efficient machinery operation of a MPU for the purpose of manufacturing explosives.Delivery of emulsion-based explosives in alignment with the contracted services supplied on siteBasic maintenance on all on site equipment.Completion of all required paperwork.What You Will BringIt is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate operational experience as a qualified MPU Operator or demonstrated equipment operation experience on an active blast bench as well as the following:You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance cultureQld HR Drivers License (Essential) Open or B ConditionStandard 11Qld Security Clearance CardForklift (HRWL) Licence (desirable)RII Qualification in Mobile Mixing Explosives/RII Support Shotfirer (desirable)Excellent communication skills, supportive team member with a positive proactive attitude and flexibility to work across varying sitesGood computer literacy, and aptitude to learn and use site specific softwareIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesnt align 100% we still want to hear from you.Join us and be a part of our explosive team. The Collinsville vicinity is drained in a northward direction by the Bowen River, after which both the river and the basin were named, honoring Queensland''s inaugural Governor, Sir George Bowen.
