We are looking for an experienced Social Worker (more than 3 years of experience ideally) to provide backfill for a period of 4 weeks, starting on 7th July until 1st August. The candidate should have recent hospital experience, with experience working with child protection and domestic violence being highly desirable. Hours: 0800-1630, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day). Accommodation can be provided for the duration of the contract. Reimbursement of up to $1000 (including GST) for one-way travel expenses. Work as part of a team of 3 inpatient social workers, including specialist Senior Social Workers, covering Maternal Health and Renal workloads. Caseload includes inpatient adult & paediatric wards, ED, outpatient adults, and paediatrics. Caseloads can be discussed based on experience. Work will be split among clinicians.
