Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Joseph Banks Secondary College (SC) is an Independent Public School in the suburb of Banksia Grove, approximately 40 kilometres from the Perth CBD. We serve students from surrounding suburbs including Carramar and Tapping. They will ideally provide students with a purposeful and engaging learning experiences to develop their understanding and appreciation of Creative and Performing Arts. As such, the suitable applicants will ideally possess a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and experience in, a range of instructional strategies and tactics. The College has state of the art facilities and equipment and offers a wide variety of courses from Years 7 to 12 including: including Dance, Drama, Media, Music, Visual Arts, Design (Graphics), Jewellery and Digital Arts.Suitable applicants will ideally be teachers who engage their students and challenge them to achieve their personal best through innovative learning opportunities and who are able to teach students of varying ability levels, differentiating the curriculum, in a highly engaging manner.
