Through active participation in excursions, Journey Alphington strengthens community involvement, fostering connection and engagement to help children develop a sense of belonging and build lasting relationships both within the centre and the wider community.About the role:This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday in our Toddler room.As our new Lead Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide childrens learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector. As an Educator with Journey Early Learning, you will be supported by your Centre Leadership Team, as you learn the fundamental skills of being an inspired Educator within the Journey family.Key Responsibilities:Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all timesDesign and implement learning experiences to be included in children''s developmental program.Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children''s individual strengths, interests, and preferencesGuide and support your team, ensuring a collaborative teaching, and interactive learning environmentAbout you:You are creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines.
