About the roleAs a Supported Independent Living Lifestyle Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our recipients to live their best life - empowering individuals to build confidence, work towards their goals and improve their mental wellbeing and connect with the community.You will work one-on-one in the homes and communities of our recipients, supporting them to live as independently as possible. selectability are currently seeking individuals interested in working in Supported Independent Living (SIL). These roles offer a variety of shiftsincluding day, night, and weekendsproviding flexibility to suit different lifestyles and commitments.Whether you''re pursuing further education, caring for loved ones, or simply looking for a schedule that fits your personal needs, the mix of shift options can help you maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.You may work with recipients in their homes to carry out activities like clean and organise, prepare healthy meals or maintain a yard and generally make positive choices.A key part of the role is supporting recipients to improve their confidence accessing the community and engaging in activities that will help them achieve their goals. You will also provide transport to and from activities.
