Harvest Packhouse Supervisors - Various RolesManbulloo specialises in growing, packing, marketing, and distributing the highest quality mangoes and avocados, with seven farms across NT and Northern QueenslandManbulloo is proud to deliver the best fruit to customers within Australia and overseas too. Supported by a committed R&D capacity, from flowering to supermarket shelves the focus on premium quality is unparalleled.The RolesWe are currently seeking packhouse supervisors who will be responsible for overseeing teams and assisting with sections of the the day to day operations of sorting, grading, and packing fruit in preparation for transport for the upcoming harvest season.Expect to work 4-7 days a week, subject to harvest schedule and weather, so once you''re into it, there''ll be plenty to keep you occupied.The available roles are:Packhouse ManagerFloor SupervisorQuality SupervisorField SupervisorTechnical training for all roles is provided, but you will need to have had some experience in supervising teams. Reporting to the Packhouse Manager, all roles involve:Being trained, and training othersAccuracy and diligenceReviewing, reporting and planningBeing a hands-on team memberLiaising with others to share information and coordinate activitiesThe SeasonsThe roles start with the start of harvest, and finish when it is over. The local harvest seasons are typically:Katherine - early September through to DecemberTownsville / Ayr - November to end DecemberMareeba - mid November to mid AprilIf you are available for some times and locations, but not others, that''s fine. There is some overlap, but if your preference is to start in Katherine and then switch over to Queensland, that is ideal. That way you can choose to work at one or more of those locations, as you prefer.
