We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant and Receptionist.About The RoleAs a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, and eager to be part of a caring and professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting the dentist during procedures, including chair-side support and sterilisation of instruments.Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments.Managing patient appointments, bookings and recalls.Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.Handling patient enquiries and coordinating patient care.Maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date; andManaging payments and health fund claims.What We Are Looking ForMinimum 2 years experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care;Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;Ability to work independently and as part of a team; andProficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.What we offer:A supportive and welcoming team environment within a fantastic company culture and strong brand that you can stand proudly behind.No late evenings (our centre is open Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 2:30pm) and health centres that are located near public transport hubs.Opportunities for professional development and training;Competitive hourly rate based on experience; andA modern, well-equipped practice in a convenient location.How do I apply?If youre passionate about dentistry open to potential additional shifts, wed love to hear from you!
