The Role:In these Local Area Coordination roles, working in the region of Rockingham, you will be responsible for assisting people with disability, their families, and their carers to build and pursue their goals to live their best life, exercise choice and control, and engage with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Partners in Community.You will be responsible for:Assisting people with permanent and significant disability to apply for NDIS supports.Collaborating with participants to develop goals.Connecting people with disabilities to support within the local community.Supporting participants to navigate and optimise their engagement with the NDIS.Improving community knowledge of the NDIS and creating new opportunities to connect participants to services and support.Meeting identified contractual KPIs.To be successful in this roleYou are an approachable, positive, passionate, and respectful person who can build and nurture relationships easily and confidently.
